In this case, the trial court denied nonresident defendant Commonwealth General Corporations special appearance. The court of appeals affirmed the denial on the basis of specific jurisdiction. 141 S.W.3d 840, 843. We conclude that there is no evidence to support the trial courts finding that the plaintiffs causes of action arise from or relate to Commonwealths contacts with Texas and that the court of appeals erred in affirming the denial on the basis of specific jurisdiction. We remand the case to the court of appeals for determination of whether general jurisdiction exists.
